So we discussed the mechanics of our game and what features are our primary focus. At current we are working around the idea of having four different elements for the player to choose from in the beginning.
I have been working on the overall story of the game to tie in with our features and fixing the design document to change to the new structure.
Malcolm has been hard at work on creating idle, feeding and affection animations for the creatures he has created, as well as working on creating the first plane of the world.
Sean has been working on the programming aspects, taking Malcolm’s animations and working on changing the stats based on if you feed the player of give it affection.
We all have a meeting tomorrow that will allow us to discuss all the progress we have made and to make sure development is smooth. Over the next few days I will be working alongside Malcolm to have a UI ready for Sean to implement into the game.
