Today Malcolm’s worked at creating a prototype version of our User Interface which is actually presentable to the player. It’s not fully finished but it paints the picture of how the game could potentially turn out.
I spent most of my time creating some more assets to use in our game. Such as more trees, decorations and rocks. Theirs still a lot to do, especially because each area will vary and we want to make sure the elements are a huge part of shaping the landscape.
I phoned Sean up today and he has implemented Malcolm’s fixed model and IT WORKS! It was causing us all quite a bit of stress, especially Malcolm who spent time crafting it. It turns out he needed to recreate its head. Now we still do have to implement the next batch of creatures Malcolm has modeled which Malcolm still needs to rig up after the User Interface is complete.
We still need to get round to testing and discussing our options for potential funding.
