The recent going on’s

Over the last week we have been busy with a few different engagements. First we met a talented music creator who contacted us in regards to creating music for our game. We have multiple offers for music creation and we are currently awaiting for a few demos in order to choose which one is best for our game.

Yesterday Malcolm and I had an interview about the Scottish Games Industry, most notably Rockstar Games, who created Grand Theft Auto. We discussed what the success of Grand Theft Auto meant to us, and if it benefited us as a company or the Scottish Games Industry. We also discussed our company and our motives and we talked about Monstrum. We will keep you posted on any news!

I had a few personal engagement’s over the last few days, including the birthday of my girlfriend. Which many of our friends including Malcolm attended. This week however was not without its progress as I have been working on rigging a Monster model.

Malcolm is going on holiday for up to a week this weekend, however he may return early. I also have a lot of personal matters to attend to, but I do still plan to work, in my free time, on rigging as well as learning some new software to aid in the artwork of the game.

Monstrum is still on track for its release for Spring 2014. However last week and next week has and will be in our spare time, returning a week on Monday to our fulltime routine.

Thanks for reading 🙂

Hey guys,

We where wondering if everyone who follows our blog could help one of our fellow indie developer friends with his newly released game “Old Jolty” which is free on the Apple App Store. Please check it out and help spread the word as well as giving rating’s and comments to help it get noticed.

You can check out his website and twitter for more information on New Jolty as well as the developer behind it. He’s worked so hard and we really enjoy his work.

Over the last few days Malcolm has been hard at work at animating the pets and we would love to share a new one with you each day of the next couple of days. Malcolm has uploaded them to a Youtube channel and essentially whats in the Youtube video is all the pets different animations such as eating, sleeping and idle. You can check it out here.

In other news we are still needing more testers for our third User Interface test which can be found here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It allows us to make sure that what we present to players is both easy to navigate and understand.

Thanks for tuning in,

Darius

Short Post on our progress

Hey guys,

We are still hard at work on our Indie Game. Right now we are just trying to get testing completed and as a result we don’t have to much to show right now. Malcolm is working on the feedback to make improvements and we will have something to show soon along with the other User Interface concepts I created.

Sean has successfully managed to figure a way to implement our interface into the game so we are just waiting on the final parts of the jigsaw coming together. I spent some of my time reviewing personas for our game and starting making up a third test. I need to wait for some information from Malcolm before I proceed to finish it and then it will be posted that same day.

Keep and eye out for our next text. Thanks for reading!
